10 Months.

We have reached 10 months already. It is getting very close to a year already.....I just can't believe how time is flying by. It has been a very nice month, we have had alot of sunshine and alot of beautiful days to play outside.
Jason and I were able to go on a day date. It was so nice. We dropped the kids off in the early morning and headed to Bismark to do a little shopping and enjoyed a nice lunch together. We took the scenic way home and it was absolutely beautiful. It was so wonderful to spend all day with Jason again....it has been too long!!
We are going to be starting a Bible study at our house next week with two other friends....very excited about.
I have gotten some new opportunities this month. I was going to start volunteering at the kid's daycare this month, she called and asked if I wanted to work there instead. I have been working there for two weeks now. We go in the morning and leave after lunch. The kids love it and it is so nice to get out of the house. I am still not quite sure of it but I know God guided me here for a reason. I have also gotten close to to a friend out here. I have enjoyed going out for coffee with her the last couple of Friday nights. She has started her own business and has recently asked me to do her book work for her.
I have been a little overwhelmed and confused this month with so many new opportunity's and not knowing where God wants me at. I came across this message this week....which I have on my kitchen cupboard to remind that he is in control and he will keep guiding me to where he wants me.
" Have no fear all is well. I can see the future, I know better than you what you need. Trust be absolutely. You are being led in a definite way, and others who do not serve your purpose will be moved out of your path. Do not plan...I have planned, you are the builder not the architect. Trust me for all and literally depend on me for everything." So I am going with the flow and keep on watching where God takes me.
Jason has had a couple of half days on Fridays this month. He has been enjoying that a lot. They are still pretty busy at work. Jason"s boss had a little conference with him this month and Jason said everything he said was better than any raise he has ever received.
Isabelle has had a very exciting month. We moved her into her toddler bed. I remember to clearly putting her to bed that first night in that bed......looking at my sweet little girl, tyring so hard not to cry and thinking where has the time gone!!! Then Innocent Isabelle says" Mom you don't have to cry I will go to bed now".
Isabelle got an interest with the potty when she got her new bed. I was so excited because she has been so hard to potty train. I haven't been able to get her on the potty for anything. It has been a struggle and we have been some bad days. She is doing very well.....we haven't had an accident for 5 days now and she has been staying dry threw her naps and it has been two nights now that she has stayed dry. She has also found a new friend at daycare. His name is TJ. She calls him her boyfriend and she will tell you all about him.
Gideon has had a little harder month.....he is going threw his terrible two stage. We have experienced a lot of tantrums. He has been very interested in his puzzles and books this month. My favorite this month is when he does something for you and you haven't said thank you yet he will say " thank you mom.... your welcome". Even threw his tantrums he always makes us laugh..he is such a joy.
It has been a good month. God continues to love us and guide us. We miss and love you all.

Picnic in January.

We had a long weekend inside due to some bad weather. After awhile we ran out of ideas to do with the kids. We decided to have a picnic inside with their table. They loved the idea so much that I still have the table in the middle of my living room.....we have to do everything on it now.

Easels.

The kids got these Easels for their birthdays from aunt Ton. It came with numbers and letters. The kids love to do all their coloring and painting on them. We use these daily. Thank Aunt Ton....the kids just love them.

New Barber in Dickinson.

Our neighbors came over a couple of weekends ago and the boys needed a haircut...Jason offered to cut it for them. The boys were very excited to get their haircut by Jason, they all turned out very nice. If you need any services you might have to come to north dakota but Jason doesn't charge.

Snow Days.

Here we are climbing up our big hill in the front yard.
Isabelle has been enjoying eating the snow this year.

We had to put snowballs in our sled and take them for a walk.

Jason made a little fort for the kids.....Gideon has been under the weather and not sure about it all.

The kids were enjoying having a snowball fight with Daddy.
The weather has been perfect this week... we took full advantage of it and spent alot of our time outside. It sure was a nice break from the cold. Jason and I had just as much fun as the kids. It is amazing what your body gets used too. It has been in the 20s-30s and we feel like spring just hit....almost wanted to start spring cleaning.

Winter road trip.

We took a little road trip this past weekend. We wanted to check out the badlands in the winter. It was absolutely beautiful. I wish I could capture the real beauty on camera. We made it in to Montana....not very far in though. The wind picked up and the roads started to get pretty bad.
It sure was a nice drive seeing all of God's beauty!!

9 Months.

We have reached nine months here in north Dakota. It sure has been a cold one. I don't think I have ever experienced this cold before. We also experienced our first storm.....we were snowed in for a couple of days. This month we got to celebrate the kid's birthday....I love to plan and give them a party. I still can't believe how time is flying by. They are growing up so fast. We had our first Christmas here. It was a very nice day. God blessed us with some company.....we were able to share our dinner with them. Amazing things happened with our company...we were able to share our faith with them and now it has ended up that we will be having our own little Bible study here at our house. I am so excited!!!
Jason has been still working alot....I don't know how he does it in this cold. He has two walls left and hopefully he will be working inside for the rest of the winter.
Isabelle turned 3 this month....I just can't believe it. She loved her birthday and Christmas this year. It was so much fun for her. She didn't quite get the whole Christmas idea...she always asked when we get to go see baby Jesus. This month my favorite is she loves everything. If we are getting ready to eat she gets excited and says "oh I love pizza" or whatever we are having. It seems like everything we do she "Loves". She has gotten pretty attached to her Dad again. She will ask when is he coming home and say " Mom I love my Dad" just melts my heart.
Gideon turned 2 this month....my little bud is growing up fast!! He sure loved having his birthday party. Especially when we took the balloons down and he got to play with them. He was a little stinker this month with the Christmas tree, I don't know how many times I found ornaments under the cushion of the couch and I also got out of the shower and found some presents that were opened from MR. Gideon. My favorite this month is everything is "Cool dude".
It has been an emotional month with the holidays but God has given us so many blessing this month. We have fully enjoyed all our extra family time that we have been given to. It was so fun to do all the Christmas stuff with the kids and start our new traditions as a family. We look forward to see what this new year will bring for our family and We wish A very Happy New Year to all of you!!!!!
