Disaster hits dickinson,nd July 8, 2009.

This is a florist shop that got destroyed from the tornado. All the windows and greenhouse windows were blown out.

This is one home that got the roof torn off it,siding riped off and windows blown off of it. In this area we saw alot of cars that were completely destroyed.
This is an auto body shop.

Here is a tree that fell on these people's garage and truck camper.

When you drive down these streets all you see is hundreds of tress that got up rooted. On wed nigtht at about 7:30 the sirens here in dickinson (our home town )went off for quite sometime. It got so dark out, I have never seen anything like it. We experienced about 150 mph winds with some heavy rain and hail. About three miles from us got hit with a f3 tornado. It did so much damage. I went driving threw it and it was just horrible. You can't go threw hardly any of the streets. They have national guards securing almost every street while they are doing clean up. I was only able to get pictures from a distance. This storm wiped alot of our town out. We have lost businesses, houses,a couple of churches. I went driving threw this mess I couldn't stop crying. This stuff doesn't seem real until you see it in real life. I felt like I was in a movie. We are so thankful that no one got hurt too serious. The town has really came together to help everyone out. We ask that you could keep these families in your prayers as they try to get threw this disaster.

Camping in medora 2009.

We all ventured down to the river. It was right down from our campsite. The kids liked it down there. They were able to play with some rocks. No swimming. The water was very dirty.

Here is our beautiful campsite. I loved it here. It was so peaceful to have the river right on our campsite and listen to the water. The scenery was Gorgeous. It was so beautiful especially in the morning watching the sunset over the badlands.
We were able to enjoy the Medora community pool. On saturday it was very hot so this was very refreshing!! Isabelle learned how to put the ball under water and was amazed how much it splashed when it came up.

On saturday we all walked downtown and watched the parade. The kids feel asleep on our walk but they woke up for the parade. Gidder needed to take a little break on daddy's shoulder. They were very busy catching candy.

Even though we were camping Isabelle still enjoyed reading her books.

It was a nice camping trip. It defiantly was easier than last. The kids had so much fun and were very excited to be outside all day long. We have a one room tent so when they went to bed together we heard alot to talking for quite awhile. I would peak in and Gidder was tyring to go to bed and little Miss Belle would say "Gidder no go night, we play". The kids were very sad to pack up and go home.
