Easter 2010.

Wishing all of you a very blessed Easter!!

1 Year.

It has been 1 year in the big ND....I can't believe it. I still clearly remember the day we left. My mom was the last one we saw and waving good-bye to her at our old house, tears are just filling my eyes as I remember her sad face.

This year has definitely been very hard. It has been an emotional roller coaster. God has been absolutely amazing and continues to bless us everyday. I have been able to see the last couple of years so clearly.....why everything had to happen. We have learned that God is our only security......that is all we need. As we continue to do God's will for our lives we have faith and hope that he will keep speaking to us and guiding us in his will...which still isn't always easy.

I am sad to say but this will be my last monthly blog. I am very grateful for all of you that have been apart of our lives this past year and for the support that you have given us....especially with me... all my crying. We couldn't of done this without all your prayers and encouraging words. We love you all very much.

Is spring on it's way?

We have had some beautiful weather the last couple of weeks. We have been taking full advantage of this weather. It has been so refreshing to be outside again. We are all hoping that spring is on it's way!!!

Brownie Goodness!!

Every week my two little bakers help me make a treat for Jason's lunch. This past week we made cookie dough brownie's. They even do such a nice job cleaning the bowl and spoon for me.

Sledding on our hill.

We still have a pretty big hill in our front yard, everything is starting to melt but it is going to take quite awhile for our hill to go away. We are still enjoying sledding on it.

Frost,Frost,and more Frost.

It has been very foggy and frosty here. All the trees and bushes have been covered with layers of frost every morning. We have had some problems with the power lines due to the frost but other than that it is just beautiful!!!

11 months.

I can't believe it is time to write about another month already. As I look at my blog I haven't posted many pictures this month.

It has already been a year since Jason and I took a trip out here to look for a place to live....I just can't believe how fast time has gone by. It is hard to believe but last year it was alot colder. We have had a busy and an emotional month. We made it to Michigan this past month. My grandfather past away. My grandpa Don was such an amazing man. I have so many wonderful memories with my Grandpa Don. He had a huge impact on my life. He always put his family first, he was a strong man of faith, he always helped where there was a need. He got alztimers disease about 12 years ago and never once did he complain about life and the pain he was in, instead he always thanked anyone that was helping him and would read his Bible. His words in everything were" It's all Good". This was true man of his unbelievable faith. I have been truly blessed to have had my grandfather as a role model, he taught me so much. His life has been an inspiration to me. It was so hard to say goodbye for now but we also rejoice knowing that he went home to his father and I can't wait to give him a big hug with his new body someday.

While we were in Michigan we were able to see most of our family and friends. I can't believe it but for the second time visiting in Michigan I don't have any pictures....sorry. It was very nice to see all of you again. On our way home we took the kids to a great wolf lodge. We all had so much fun. It was a nice break for the kids for our long drive. The kids have been doing alot better in the car.

We celebrated valentine's this year as a family. We made some Valentine heart crafts and heart cupcakes, the kids enjoy it.

Jason still keeps very busy at work. They have been doing a lot of house which he loves. It is starting to get back into the busy season again.

Isabelle has been doing very good on the potty. She has been getting up very early, so we got her an alarm clock. That has helped a lot. She has been very sick this past month with two ear infections, a very bad cold and the flu. She has been coming up with so much funny stuff. One day we were driving home and a flock of birds went by and Isabelle says " bye bye birds go home to mommy now". I just love their imagination!!! The last couple of months she has been into Dora. Everything has to be Dora. She always says" mom I love Dora. She has made alot of new friends at daycare. She is going to have one of her new friends come over to play in a couple of weeks. I can't believe this time is coming already.

Gideon id definitely going threw his terrible 2's. He has been having alot of tantrums and everything is no. He is such a sweet and sensitive little guy, I have a hard time punishing him. He has been quite sick this month too with two double ear infections, a bad cold and the flu.He has gotten really attached to his elephants. He wants his elephants by him at all times. He also wants every stuffed animal in his bed with him at all times. On our trip whenever a big truck went by he would say " mom big truck....do you see um,do you see um. It is so cute!!

It has been a little harder month saying goodbye to our Grandfather and having some winter blues but this month God has really taught me about how he works everything out in his plan, he always supply all of our needs. Sometimes I need to trust a little bit more.
