1 Month.

It has one month already in north dakota. It has gone by pretty fast but it doesn't seem to get any easier from being away from you all. We have found some beautiful country out here. It just amazes me!! We haven't quite reached spring yet. We are so ready!! We have also found out that it gets incredibly windy out here. Some days there is no need to do the hair!! It has been a blessing to have work again. Jason is happy at his job. He has met some nice guys. He has adjusted quite well. He does work some long days!! He has been averaging about 58-60 hours a week. It has been hard for him to not spend time with the kids until the weekend. He starts on walls Thursday and will take over foreman job in about 2-4 weeks. The kids have adjusted very well. It has been a very hard transition for me. I find myself cring quite a bit and asking why?, why?. Then my precious Isabelle will come and comfort and say"it's ok mom, no more cry". Also I will get a little blessing to pick me up. Sometimes it is hard to see what God is doing because we can't see the big picture yet. All I know I have complete faith that he brought us here for a wonderful reason and we will keep adventuring, I will admit I am still scared. I have wanted to give up many times but I came across this passage that keeps me going.
2 Corinthians: 4
We hurt sometimes, but we are not destroyed....so we do not give up. Our physical body is becoming older and weaker, but our spirit inside us is made new everyday. We have small troubles for a while now,but they are helping us gain an eternal glory that is much greater than the troubles. We set our eyes not on what we can see but on what we cannot see.
We are excited to see what this next month brings. We love all of you and miss you all very much!! We thank you all very much for all the support and prayers!! It is such a blessing to have such wonderful family and friends!!

Pajama Day!!

Sunday we had pajama day. It was rainy and cold all day. The kids have been fighting a cold for a week now so we were not able to go to Church all together. Jason decided to make a fort with the kids with every last blanket in the house and all our furniture downstairs. It ended up being the best fort we have ever built yet with the kids. They had alot of fun!! Jason had just as much fun as they did. I went to Church myself and when I got home 2 hours later they were still playing in the fort. It ended up being a fun rainy day!!

Patterson Park

Belle just loves the park. About every 5 min "mom go around and around again".

Gidder was fascinated with the tunnel. Especially when he figured out that he could walk threw it.

This is patterson recreational park. It is about 10 miles east of where we live. The park offers camping, fishing, boating, swimming, children's play land, and a picnic area. We were able to go there last Sunday. It was a beautiful day here in north dakota. There was a good wind which made it a little chilly by the lake. We were amazed of the beautiful scenery. The kids had so much fun. They were very happy to be at a park again. I am thinking that this park might see alot of us this coming year. We were able to enjoy a nice picnic and enjoy the outdoors.

Chocolate Maddness!!!

Today we made chocolate pudding. It was a perfect day for some indoor fun. It was chilly and rainy. Before we moved to north dakota my wonderful cousin made be a box of envelopes for 21 days. It has been the most wonderful gift. Every day I get so excited to open one and it is always what I need for the day. Today was a little note and a box of chocolate pudding. The note said to let the kids finger paint to their hearts delight. I wasn't so sure about it with the mess and all. It was perfect!! They had so much fun and had a nice treat!! Thank you cousin for our chocolate goodness on such a gloomy day!!!

HAPPY EASTER!!!

Our Easter adventures today were going to a new Church. We has a Church all planned out but we got very lost!! I guess God wanted us at Break free Bible Church. It was a very nice service. We didn't feel at home there so we will try something new next week. The kids had a great time in nursery. They sang songs and had a bible story. We went out for a nice Easter dinner. It was a beautiful day here in north dakota so we were able to play outside and have a nice family walk. As we have celebrated this joyous day knowing that we have eternal life with God and someday he will be back, it has also been hard to be away from all of you. You all have been in our hearts and we love you all very much. We hope your day was filled with many blessings as ours was!!

Painting our easter eggs!!

Saturday night we got to paint easter eggs. At 29 I still get the thrill of painting eggs. Children sure bring out the kid in you again.
Gidder wasn't quite sure what to think of it all. He had alot of fun until he cracked the shell and spilled the paint all over himself. It was all over for him. Needless to say he got his bath.

Belle had so much fun. She did such a nice job. She always picked purple so we ended up with alot of purple eggs. When she got done with an egg she would say "momma I did it" she was so very proud of herself. If you don't know already Belle loves to do paint so this was amazement for her that she got to paint an egg and not on paper. On Easter morning the first thing she said "we paint eggs now ok".
